Welcome to my web site. My work is based on religious themes in a tradition that goes back thousands of years(i.e Leonardo da Vinci and Michaelanglo). I research symbolism, mostly Judeo-Christian, and incorporate these symbols into my paintings. I create my work to convey an idea or story. Some pieces are more obviously religious in theme than others. I enjoy the way that symbols can be interpreted in many different ways depending on the viewer, but I do create my pieces with a specific theme in mind. The thing I like most about what I do is creating images that are visually pleasing and have different layers of meaning behind them. I love a good mystery, and I think I enjoy creating pieces with symbolism because the viewer must search for the answer and meaning within themselves. The work of David Salle and Salvador Dali have influenced the structure of my work and the way I communicate in my paintings. I am also inspired by contemporary pop surrealists. Read more...
